Crossing the Royal River
Enjoy some of the finest views in all of London while you criss-cross the Royal River Thames from Big Ben to Tower Bridge You will hear about the passage of bridge building over the river Thames from Roman times to the present day. Learn about the first stone London Bridge and its “Drawbridge Tower” which became known for its gruesome display of severed heads. The walk passes many historic buildings including St Paul’s, the recreated Globe Theatre , Hays Galleria and the Tate Modern.
